A Partridge Family Christmas Card
A Partridge Family Christmas Card
A Partridge Family Christmas Card was the biggest selling PF album of them all. It pre-sold gold. At the time this album was out, Bell Records was reporting 200,000 copies of Partridge Family albums being sold in one day. This album went to No. 1 on the Christmas Charts in 1971 and was reissued the following year, reaching No. 9 in 1972. The arrangements are brilliant, and it’s the only album that features solo work from Shirley Jones on “The Christmas Song.” The original “My Christmas Card To You” opens the album followed by all the recognizable holiday favorites including “White Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride,” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”
We have gone to great lengths to provide excellent copies of these albums at reasonable prices. All copies sold here are repackaged, with both the Jacket and Vinyl in excellent condition. All vinyl has been played on high-end record players to assure there is absolutely no skipping, and minimal popping/static noise to satisfy the best of collectors. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned by experts, and the jackets are all completely intact with no tearing or abrasions including the fine, left edge often destroyed over time. None of our copies have clips, hole punches or corner-cuts associated with “cutouts,” done to mark albums at reduced prices for the sales bins. The inner sleeve was simply a typical white sleeve, now yellowed over time due to acid deterioration, and we have replaced that sleeve with a white, acid-free sleeve lined with a protective poly liner—the highest quality available in restoration. This album came with an actual card packaged out front, and we have included one here especially for you. Finally, we have packaged the album in a crystal clear polypropylene, acid-free, re-sealable outer sleeve with a custom, “When We’re Singin’” hype sticker! We’ll send you a little pack of stickers as a special Partridge “THANK YOU,” too!
